It's been at least 10 years since I last rode a bike. Probably longer if I really sit down and do the math. I rode bikes a lot growing up, but in highschool when I injured my knee, bike riding was something that I wasn't easily able to do. I still stayed active, switching to running (also hurt) and rollerblading, and ultimately walking. In university I switched to yoga, something that I still enjoy doing, although not as regularly as I should, I will be the first to admit! This past weekend, … [Read more...]

There is a video tucked away somewhere deep in my parent's basement. It would take some doing to find it, and then even more time to find a VCR that would allow us to watch it, but I know it's still there. Without even finding the tape, I know exactly what's on it. Of course I use the term "city" loosely as other than the game on Thursday night, we actually never left the mall! … [Read more...]
family yoga

Last week I tried out a new yoga studio in town, it is most defiantly not the same work out at my other practice was, but it is a nice change of pace, and a good way to get back to the "yoga basics". I still very much want to get back into a "work-out" style yoga, but just needed a little break from my previous practice. … [Read more...]
